Time management and productivity tools will change your life for the better. Taking massive action to be productive in all areas of your life will ensure that you have the very best chance for great success. If you have read the life stories of successful people, from the beginning of recorded history through our present time, you will find that they did not let grass grow under their feet at any time. Instead, they were willing to keep moving forward as they explored what worked and what didn’t work to achieve their goals.
As I began to build my own business on the Internet I saw that I would need to learn quickly, take massive action, and then course correct in order to make more progress. When I started working with others this was the strategy I used to help them to succeed quickly.
Take a look at what you want to achieve. Break it into smaller chunks. Learn what you need to know and then apply that immediately to the task or activity you are working on. Allow me to give you an example of this, as it pertains to building a profitable online business.
I wanted to create a live webinar course on how to write emails. People have been telling me how beneficial my autoresponder messages and broadcasts have been to them, so I wanted to explain exactly how to do this. Making a list of the steps I was taking gave me a starting point as to what I would teach. Soon I realized that I must also show the students how to access their autoresponder system in order to load the email messages they would be writing.
Over the course of one afternoon I made a list of what I would teach, learned how to use a system I do not typically use for this in my own business, and prepare a checklist for the information that would be crucial in order to get this all set up quickly. I then created a short Powerpoint presentation. The course was now ready to present.
I thought back to when I was learning this same information during 2006 and recalled that it had taken me a couple of months to master these same skills. Why had it taken so long back them? I was spending more time thinking about it and worrying about hypothetical situations than I was in actually doing what needed to be done.
Take massive action on a daily basis and you will be more productive and have complete control over your time management. This is a time management and productivity tool I use, and it may help you as well.
