Targeted traffic is the goal of everyone working online. Without a regular and steady flow of visitors to our sites, we would be out of business very quickly. But how do we connect with these people? There are many ways, both paid and free, but I highly recommend starting with free targeted traffic so that you can start building your business without any added costs. This involves becoming active with SEO (search engine optimization) on your sites, posting regularly to your blog, and writing articles on your topic that can be submitted to the article directories. Learning as much as you possibly can about SEO will bring you traffic on a daily basis without you having to do any additional work, spend more time, or have an outlay of money. This means that you must know your keywords, and continue to do keyword research regularly. Start with the core phrase that people think of when they want to know more about your topic. For example, if your niche is real estate, start with a search of real estate tips or buying real estate to describe your main topic. Use Google’s free keyword tool to do this research, so that your information will be accurate and up to date.
Now use the words and phrases you come up with as the titles of your blog posts and articles. This means that when someone searches for buying real estate in Dallas, Texas they will be much more likely to find your site based on this phrase. When you do this particular search you will find that there are more than a hundred thousand results. Wouldn’t it be nice to know that you could be on the first or second pages of those results simply by making some extra effort on your site? It can be done.
This all works together nicely when you start posting to your blog at least twice each week, and also writing articles, such as this one, as often as possible. I write an average of one article each day, and have done this since 2007, so I know that this strategy works.
Make the commitment to use SEO, blogging, and article marketing as a way to increase the steady flow of targeted traffic to your sites and your online business will flourish. Many people are doing this already, so you might as well use these time-tested marketing techniques to bring visitors and prospects to you every single day.
