You may have read about guest blogging, or even read a guest post on my blog and elsewhere. This is where you write a post for someone else’s blog on a topic that you are knowledgeable about. That blogger may also write a post for your blog, depending upon the arrangement you have worked out with them.
The guest blogging I have done involves exchanging a series of three posts with the other blogger. Each person writes on their area of expertise, including information they typically do not share with others outside of their circle of influence. The post may include links to products, using the affiliate link for the person whose blog you are posting to.
The result is that you each have an opportunity to build your list and connect with more prospects. You also develop a relationship with the other blogger. Many guest bloggers go on to joint ventures and new products, all based on the guest posts. Nicole Dean is an expert in this area, and has created an inexpensive training program – just $17 – on this topic that I highly recommend. Check it out at Guest Blogging Secrets.
