I can still remember when I first made the decision to host teleseminars. My heart was racing, and my hand shook as I held my page of bulleted notes. The worse thing was that no one else was on the phone? What was I so afraid of? I believe my fear came from being unsure of my topic. I went ahead and talked for about thirty minutes, and vowed to do it again at the same time the following week.
Soon I was interviewing others and promoting their products and courses through my affiliate link. I was still very nervous, but it was getting a little bit easier each week. No one attended my calls during that first month or so, and I made up a list of names and questions to make it appear that someone was interested in what I was talking about. Finally a few people attended my calls live, and this made me relax a little. Within three months the fear was completely gone and my business began to grow.
I’m sharing this story with you so that you can see what it’s like to ‘feel the fear and do it anyway’. Teleseminars set you apart from others working online. Your prospects and clients hear your voice and connect with you. It’s still the next best thing to meeting someone in person. The service I have used to host teleseminars since May of 2007 is called Instant Teleseminar. Give it a try for only one dollar and let me know when your first teleseminar is scheduled. I’ll let my community know so that you’ll have the support you need.
