Creating content is the lifeblood of your online business, but did you know that you can become a content publisher to maximize your efforts and achieve a higher level of success? A ‘content publisher’ is someone who uses their own and other sources of content to build sites, set up blogs, write books of all types, and create products. the idea is that you will use content created by others that you have permission to use in your own sites and materials.
One source of content that you can publish is from the article directories. Other people have written about every topic under the sun, and this is available to you at no cost. You must follow the rules, which say that you must give the original author full credit, not make any changes to the article, and keep the resource box (author’s bio) intact. Other than that, authors who submit to these article directories have given you full permission to use their writing.
Public domain is another great source available to you as a content publisher. I love the government sites and have used this type of content on several of my niche sites. There are rules about this as well, but you can find out exactly what they are if you search online for this information.
PLR (private label rights) is another great source of content. I buy lots of PLR for my sites, and have even used it in two of my published books. There are several people I recommend for buying high quality PLR, including Nicole Dean, Alice Seba, Ronnie Nijmeh, and Melissa Ingold. You must purchase from a reputable source or you may not be happy with the quality and style of what you get.
Start thinking of yourself as a content publisher and your horizons will broaden very quickly.

Boy, do I wish I’d known about private label rights two years ago – would have written my first ebook in a lot less time. Thanks for the great referrals, Connie. I’ll be checking them out this week!

Connie – Thank you for a great post!
At your recommendation I’ve used two of the sources here. Articles from article directories and the PLR content.
To become an online content publisher, it is wise to use every available resource. Using these two resources gives more time to participate in other worthwhile activities in the internet marketing business.

I am a big fan of Nicole, Alice and Melissa, and will check out Ronnie soon. You are so right, I bought a lot of junk at the beginning. I’ve got a lot of work to do, but great plr goes a long way to making it easier. I’ll be checking out the gov’t information next. Thanks for the tips.

Connie, thanks for the tip. I’ve not used the article directory or public domain yet, but will do so now. I already use the services of Ronnie, Melissa, Nicole and Alice. Their PLR is top notch. I’ve used others but found it so much work simply to get it into any usable fashion.
