I can remember when I only had 50 people on my list. It was at this time that I decided to act as if I had 50,000 people. Once I made the decision to market to my tiny list as though it were a huge one, amazing things began to happen. Every few days I sent out an email, telling my people about an affiliate product or service that I had personally used and benefitted from. They began to buy and I starting earning money.
The important lesson I had learned was to treat each person on my list as an individual. I was speaking to just one person in each of my emails, not to the entire group at once. My emails spoke to them on a personal level because I was concerned with them receiving the best possible information from me.
Take a look at what you are sending out. Do you speak to your prospects as though you are sending an email to each one of them personally? By imagining that it is just you and them, having a personal conversation, you will touch each person in a unique way. They will feel like a human being instead of just another random person on your list.
